The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery has raised over $1.1 billion in funds for Arkansas college students since 2009. This is more than the 675,000 Arkansas Academic Challenge scholarship awards. More than 92 Cents of every dollar in lottery revenue is spent on prizes, scholarships, commissions for retailers, and other expenses within Arkansas.

Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship

The Arkansas Academic Challenge Program offers educational assistance for Arkansas residents who are pursuing higher education. (800) 54-STUDY

Arkansas Workforce Challenge Scholarship 2024

The Arkansas Workforce Challenge Award offers financial assistance to Arkansas residents who apply for certificates in high-demand occupations. Here is a list of these occupations. Before a student is allowed to enroll in an eligible program, they must submit a request at least 30 working days before the deadline. The award amount cannot exceed $800 per program. The Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship is not available to students who have already received it. For more information, call the Arkansas Department of Higher Education (501) 371-2000. Arkansas Concurrent Challenge Scholarship

Arkansas Concurrent Challenge Award offers financial incentives for eligible high school students in Arkansas who wish to get an early start on college courses. The scholarship is $125 per credit and can be used for up to two concurrent credit classes per semester.

 How Does Arkansas Scholarship Lottery 2024 Work?

Scholarship Lottery offers many games, including Mega Millions, Lucky for Life, Cash 3, Cash 4, Instant Games (Scratchoffs), and Mega Millions.

A large percentage of the money that a college student spends on Lottery tickets goes directly into the Arkansas Challenge Scholarships. Other fractions will be distributed to the ticket resellers and the Scholarship Lottery winners. The Arkansas Academic Challenge is the goal. The scholarships for college can amount to millions of dollars.

Available Study Level/Field

The Arkansas Department of Higher Education offers scholarships to students who are pursuing a college degree. You can apply for the scholarship through the Arkansas Department of Higher Education.

Only students from the United States can apply for the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery. The Arkansas Department of Higher Education oversees the promotion and coordination of the lottery program in Arkansas. This department is responsible for all aspects of the lottery program. You should not accept any information that claims it has changed its operations. Eligible for nationality

Scholarships can be awarded in a variety of categories and winners will receive a variety of prizes.

Arkansas Scholarship Lottery funds the Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarships. The scholarships were re-divided into different categories, including those for college students, high school students, and non-traditional students.

Arkansas Lottery Scholarship winners will receive $1,0000 the first year of college, $4,000 the second year, $4,000 the third year and $5,000 the fourth year. The first year of two-year college will be $1,000, the second year $3,000 and the third year $4,000 respectively.

Arkansas Lottery Scholarship 2024 Eligibility Criteria

We want it to be more than a term. Eligible are college students and non-traditional students.

General Eligibility

A person must be a resident of the USA, Arkansas in particular. Other groups who are eligible may also be eligible for scholarships.

Eligibilities to Colleges

  • You must fulfill certain conditions to continue receiving a scholarship through the Scholarship Lottery for the second, third and fourth years of schooling.
  • First-year students must complete 27 semester hours, while second-year students must complete 30 semester hours. Part-time students can still be eligible for scholarships, but the premium will be lower.
  • You must maintain a 2.5-grade point average during your studies to be eligible for an Arkansas Lottery scholarship.
  • At all times, you must be enrolled at school. If you miss a semester, your scholarship will be canceled. This is only possible for two semesters.
  • If you fulfill all conditions, scholarships can be renewed after 130 semester hours.
  • Your application will be reviewed if your degree requires that you spend more than 130 hours per term at the school.
  • It is up to you whether or not you wish to increase your reward. You are not eligible for additional funding if you have not earned a bachelor’s degree by the deadline.

Eligibility for High School

  • High school seniors who have a 19 or higher ACT score can apply for the Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship.
  • Arkansas Scholarship Lottery accepts ACT equivalents. The SAT verbal and math sections accept 900 points. A score of 40 ASSET, 64 COMPASS, or 79 ACCUPLACER is acceptable.

Eligibility for Non-Traditional Students

  • Non-traditional students are people who don’t immediately go to college after graduating high school. If you have graduated from high school years ago and did not go to university, you may be considered a nontraditional student.
  • This means that you need to have a minimum 19 ACT score and a minimum 2.5 GPA in Arkansas high schools or after 12 hours of university coursework.
