Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the questions students ask us most.

What is a fully funded scholarship?

A fully funded scholarship covers tuition fees and usually living costs, travel, health insurance and sometimes research or settlement allowances, so you can study abroad without paying out of pocket.

Can I get a scholarship without IELTS?

Yes. Many universities accept a Medium of Instruction (English proficiency) letter, Duolingo, or waive the test for students from English-medium backgrounds. See our Without IELTS Scholarships section for current options.

When should I start applying for 2027 scholarships?

Most major scholarships for the 2027 intake open between September and December 2026, with some deadlines as early as October. Start preparing your documents at least 3–6 months before the deadline.

Which documents are usually required?

Typically a valid passport, academic transcripts and degrees, CV, motivation letter or personal statement, recommendation letters, and an English test score or proficiency certificate.

Is Scholarships Guider free to use?

Yes. All scholarship information and application guides on Scholarships Guider are completely free. We never charge students for applying to scholarships.
