Eligibility criteria for Astion University Scholarship

To be eligible for Scholarships at Aston University in the UK, you must fulfill the following eligibility requirements;

• English is the required language.
• All international students from all around the world are eligible to apply for this scholarship except EU students.
• The Aston Scholarship will not be awarded to a candidate whose tuition fees have been partially or entirely covered by the sponsor unless the sponsor has a formal agreement in place with Aston University for the confirmation of eligibility.
• An applicant might qualify for an Aston Scholarship if:

1. 1. For tuition fees, they are regarded as international students rather than as those pursuing studies for degrees of equivalent or lower standing.
   2. They are suggesting that Aston University implement a full-time undergraduate or graduate teaching or foundation program that would start in the September 2026 academic year.
   3. For the scholarships granted under this program, candidates must fulfill the additional criteria.

Scholarship Benefits

The recipients of the Aston University scholarship in the United Kingdom will receive the following financial benefits;

• For Undergraduate Degree: 
  • Value: £9,000 total, applied as a tuition fee discount across the degree:
    • Year 1: £5,000
    • Year 2: £2,000
    • Year 3: £2,000

    Years 2 and 3 are awarded automatically on progression. The scholarship applies to taught years only. Placement years, repeated years, and repeated modules are excluded.

Eligibility

• Open to self-funded international undergraduate offer-holders only
• For direct entry to Year 1 
• Subject to programme and progression exclusions, as detailed in the Terms and Conditions.

Programme exclusions: 

The following programmes are not eligible for the Undergraduate International Community Scholarship:

• BSc Nursing Studies (Adult Nursing or Mental Health)
• MBChB Medicine
• MOptom Optometry
• MPharm Pharmacy
• BSc Healthcare Science (Audiology)

• For postgraduate degree:
  • Successful candidates will be awarded up to £10,000 to help with tuition aid.
