Aston Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarship is available to International Students for the Academic year 2024-2025. Undergraduate Successful applicants will be awarded up to £17,500 to help with tuition fees and PostGraduate Successful applicants will be awarded £10,000 to help with tuition fees..

Who can apply?
International and EU students from any country can apply. This scholarship is available for students applying to undergraduate (excluding Medicine) taught courses starting in September 2024.

Aston University welcomes students from all backgrounds. We take pride in our diverse student body who come not only from all over the world but also from a wide range of social and educational backgrounds. This scholarship will be awarded to students who demonstrate academic excellence, and a genuine commitment to their subject area which could be demonstrated by work experience, volunteering or extra-curricular projects and activities.
How do I apply?
You will be asked to write a short supporting statement, which will be judged by a panel.
To apply for a scholarship, you will need to apply for an Aston University course first. Once you have received an offer to study an Aston University course, you can then log into your My Aston Portal (MAP) account, where you will find a link to the scholarship application form. Details on how to access your MAP account can be found in your offer email.
When is the deadline?
For courses starting in September 2024, the deadline to apply for this scholarship is:
- Midnight UK (BST) time on Wednesday, 31st May 2024
The deadline for successful applicants will receive a response by is:
- Wednesday, 14th June 2024
What happens next?
If your application is successful, you will be awarded up to £5,000 per year of study (total value up to £17,500 including a placement year) to help with tuition fees.

Can I apply for more than one scholarship?
You can only receive one scholarship but you can apply for multiple scholarships. If you are successful in being awarded multiple scholarships, the highest-value scholarship will be awarded to you. Scholarships will automatically be credited to your student account in the form of a tuition fee reduction.
Postgraduate Scholarships
How much is this scholarship worth?
Successful applicants will be awarded £10,000 to help with tuition fees.
Who can apply?
International and EU students from any country can apply. This scholarship is available for students applying to postgraduate taught courses (excluding MBA, Postgraduate Diploma or Masters Degree for Overseas Pharmacists (OSPAP) and distance learning courses) starting in September 2024.
Please note, postgraduate research students are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
