Scholarship Awards range from $1,000 to $50,000 and are intended to help students offset the cost of attending college or post-secondary vocational/technical school. Applicants are selected based on their GPA, work experience, extracurricular activities, and community service.

BURGER KING  was established in October 2005, is the charitable arm of the BURGER KING system, and is a nonprofitable, charitable organization.

The BURGER KING℠ Scholars program assists employees, employees’ spouses or domestic partners, employees’ children, and high school seniors in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada in continuing their education. To date, the program has awarded more than $53 million in scholarships to more than 46,000 students. Last year alone, $4.3 million in scholarships were awarded to nearly 4,000 deserving students.

This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship America. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability, or national origin.

Scholarship Eligibility

Applicant must be living in the United States, Puerto Rico, Guam, or Canada

Must be graduating high school senior (U.S., Puerto Rico, or Guam), graduating from grade 12 (Canada), or graduating from home school education in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam, or Canada

Applicant should have a CGPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent
