The Government of Colombia Scholarship is Funded by ICETEX. All applicants who do not have Colombian nationality are eligible to apply for this scholarship. There is no IELTS required for this scholarship program.

Scholarship Duration

• For master’s degree program: Up to 24 months (4 academic semesters)
• For Ph.D. degree program: Up to 48 months (8 academic Semesters)
• For Specialization: Up to 18 months (3 academic semesters)
• For the Spanish language course: up to 6 months

Eligibility Criteria for the Colombia Government Scholarship 

The eligibility criteria for the Government of Colombia Scholarship 2026 are given below:

• Candidates of any nationality are eligible to apply for the Colombian Government Scholarship.
• Candidates from outside Colombia are eligible to apply.
• To be eligible for this scholarship, you should not be older than 50 years.
• Candidates should not be of Colombian nationality.
• Candidates should not have any de facto or marital relationship in Colombia.
• Candidates are eligible to apply for up to three degree programs.
• You must have a professional, graduate, or undergraduate degree in any area of knowledge.
• There is no IELTS required.
