Below is the financial coverage for the Dalarna University Scholarship
- Dalarna Scholarships can be used to reduce your tuition fees.
- This will cover between 10 to 50 percent of your tuition fees. The amount you receive is deducted automatically by a fixed amount every semester for the duration of your program.
Important Note:
- Dalarna University offers partial scholarships to students who pay fees. One semester of full-time study (30 credit) costs between 43.500 SEK and 70.000 SEK.
Eligibility Criteria for the Dalarna University Scholarship 2024
The eligibility criteria to be eligible for scholarships must be met.
- English is the required language.
- All applicants are eligible.
- To apply for the Master’s Degree Scholarship, applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree.
- Candidates must be proficient in the English language, specifically by taking an internal test like IELTS or TOEFL. A minimum score of 90 on the IBT (or 6.5 with no lower than 6.0) is required.
Scholarships for enrolled students
Dalarna University offers all students with outstanding academic results a reduction of their tuition fees for continued studies at Dalarna University. To qualify for this reduction in tuition fees you:
- Must have studied at least one semester (Master’s level) or two semesters (Bachelor’s level) within a degree program at Dalarna University.
- Must be continuing the same degree program for at least one more semester of full-time study.
- Must have achieved at least 50% results of VG or 5 depending on the grading scale used.
- Must be verified as “outstanding” by the faculty in your program.
The value of this scholarship is a 10,000 SEK tuition fee waiver for each remaining semester of full-time studies in the program you are currently studying. Applications for this scholarship should be made no later than 3 weeks before the start of the new semester. Your program manager will share a link to the scholarship application if you are finishing your first semester/first year of studies.
