Eligibility Criteria
For all those applicants who want to apply for Davidson Fellows Scholarships following requirements must fulfill
- Applicants age under 18 or more and submit their application before passing deadline.
- Applicants belong to U.S. citizens or in the United States, or Permanent Residents of the United States residing in the United States, or be stationed overseas due to active U. S. military duty.
- Applicants aged above 18 are eligible.
- Applicants from Teams of two are eligible. Both team members must fulfill the requirements that were required.
Davidson Fellows must be able to attend, with one parent or guardian, the awards ceremony and other recognition events to be held in September in Washington, DC. (Travel expenses and lodging will be provided by the Institute.)
Review Category Requirements and Project Criteria
This institute offered scholarships awarded on the basis of significant work. Significant work is complete information that experts in the field recognize as meaningful and has the ability to make a positive contribution to society. Such work may be:
- Strong information about their previous records of existing knowledge
- Applicants have the ability to develop new ideas
- Students know about the best innovative solutions with different implications
- An important advancement that can be replicated and built upon
- Authentic information about their interdisciplinary research
- A prodigious performance
- Another demonstration of extraordinary work.
Information for teams:
The team’s build must be no more than two people.
- Both team members must be 18 or more than as of the application deadline of February 15, 2023.
- Both team members must attend any in-person awards events.
- Scholarship money will be equally divided between the two members of the team.
- As with solo submissions, two nominators are required
The Davidson Institute is looking for students whose projects are at, or close to, the college graduate level with a depth of knowledge in their particular area of study. This scholarship is not geared toward students at the novice level.
