Eligibility Requirements for Eastern Mediterranean University Scholarship
To be eligible for the University of Eastern Mediterranean Scholarship, candidates must meet all the eligibility requirements given below;
- The required study language is English.
- International candidates from all countries worldwide are eligible to apply.
- For new international students and Turkish citizens (separately) with a minimum bachelor’s degree CGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or equivalent, each Ph.D. degree program may offer one 100% or two 50% tuition fee scholarships.
- For new students in Turkey, scholarships for Master’s degrees are also available in addition to the 50% tuition discount.
- English language requirement: Proof of English language is required for all Ph.D. degree programs and Master’s degree programs taught in English. Your level will be evaluated by an exam at EMU if you don’t already hold a recognized English language qualification that meets the requirements of EMU.
- One of the following will be applied based on the above conditions:
- The courses for the Graduate program will be studied alongside English courses.
- Before the start of your graduate program, you will first take rigorous English courses (without any graduate program courses).
- You will start your postgraduate studies directly after completing the English language support program.
