Scholarship Benefits
- The Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship Scheme gives a yearly payment of HK$331,200 (approximately US$42,460) (to Cover Housing and meals)
- A conference and a research-related travel stipend of HK$13,800 (approximately US$1,760) per year each year for each awardee for a period as long as three years.
- 300 Fellowships will be granted

Eligibility Criteria

- Candidates should have a Master’s Degree Program to apply for this grant
- Candidates who are seeking admission as new full-time PhD students in the following eight universities, irrespective of their country of origin, prior work experience and ethnic background, should be eligible to apply.

Application Procedure
First of all, applicants should make an Initial Application online through the Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship Scheme Electronic System (HKPFSES) to get an HKPFS Reference Number by 1st December 2025 before submitting applications for Ph.D. admission to their desired universities. Applicants may choose up to two programs.
