Scholarship Coverage
SNU scholarships in South Korea will cover the following expenses. Students interested to study in Korea can also apply for the GSFS scholarship that is offered by SNU every spring.
- The full tuition fee will be covered by SNU.
- Monthly stipend for two years 900,000 KRW per month
- Scholarship achievers will get free accommodation.
- The stipend will cover food and other expenses.
- Korean Language Training Fee: For One Year
- Medical Insurance, Research Fund, Thesis Printing Fees, Settlement, and Returning Expenses.

How to Contact Research Professors for Scholarship
- Any professor at SNU agrees on covering the student’s tuition fees and giving him a stipend. In this case, no acceptance letter will be required. The student will require to keep him/her in contact.
- If the professor agrees to cover your expenses then fill out the application form if not then you will have to live on your own expenses
- If candidates send too many emails to the professor this will definitely give no good impression and your requests will be rejected.
- Write nice, composed emails with all your certifications attached so that it will increase your chances of acceptance.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants should not be Korean citizens.
- Must have equivalent bachelor’s or master’s degrees.
- Must have Language proficiency proof.
