American University, in a public-private partnership, is creating a Sister Exchange Program with support from the US government through its Sister Exchange Program. Non-profit agencies also offer summer scholarships for undergraduate students studying in the same fields at partner universities in America.
The summer sister exchange opportunity to the USA offers young women the chance to travel fully funded and have the experience of a lifetime. Summer Sisters Exchange Program is open to young Pakistani girls currently studying at a college or high school in Pakistan. The program organizers will cover all costs. This is the best way for you to travel free and learn lifelong skills.
Participants will be taught business skills and science in International relations.
American University offers summer courses for 20 young Pakistani girls each year in partnership with the iEARN U.S.A and the Society for International Education. These courses are primarily in Science, Technology Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) and Engineering. Alumni of the program have access to mentorship programs and career development programs as well as networking opportunities. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Only females are eligible to apply
- Only Pakistani nationality is required
- Minimum Education: 12 Years
- You must be 18-24 years old by June 1, 2021. This means that the applicant should have been born between June 1998 and June 2004.
- You should be able to read and write English well
- A good academic record is required. Should have obtained 70% or more in all subjects over the last 3 years.
- Students currently enrolled at a college or university who plan to return to their home universities after the program is over
- Are in their first year of a master’s program, or have completed a 2-year bachelor’s program.
- You must be a member of a low-income or middle-income family
- When she is selected, the applicant should be able to apply for and obtain a passport

How to Apply!
The application process is online for the Summer Sisters Exchange Program 2023 in the USA
- You must complete the registration form. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for online interviews.
- After completing online interviews, selected students are invited to meet in person or participate in group discussions in Karachi and Islamabad.
- Final students will take an English test, which will be passed by them. They will then be sent to American University for final placement and matching.
