Chevening Scholarship

Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship programme for overseas fee-paying students. This fully-funded scholarship covers flights, accommodation, and course fees to undertake a one-year Master’s course at any UK university.

GREAT Scholarship

Amount: £10,000

Deadline: 29 June 2026

GREAT Scholarships are jointly funded by the University of Westminster, the UK government’s GREAT Britain campaign, and the British Council. We are offering one £10,000 scholarship towards tuition fees for a one-year master’s programme starting in September 2026, available to students from Mexico.

Home Postgraduate Part Fee Scholarship – September 2026

Amount: £2,000

Deadline: Scholarships for 2026–26 are now closed. Applications for the 2026–27 course start will open in January 2026.

One-off £2,000 Tuition Fee Award paid directly to the University towards your tuition fees in your first semester. Students on two-year postgraduate or part-time courses will receive the award for their first year only.

Postgraduate Sanctuary Scholarship – January 2026

Amount: Full tuition fee plus up to £12,000

Deadline: 3 November 2026

The University offers one Postgraduate Sanctuary Scholarship to support students seeking asylum in the United Kingdom who are not eligible to receive postgraduate financial support from Student Finance. It covers full tuition costs, plus a maintenance grant of £1,000 per month for up to 12 months.

International Postgraduate Excellence Award – January 2026

Amount: £3,000

Deadline: 14 November 2026

The International Postgraduate Excellence Award is designed to support international students who have achieved academic excellence and show passion for their chosen field of study. We’re offering scholarships for high-achieving international students, covering £3,000 to £5,000 towards their full-time Master’s tuition fees.

Home Undergraduate Great Start Scholarship

Amount: £2,400

Deadline: Scholarships for 2026–26 are now closed. Applications for a 2026–27 course start will open in January 2026.

The scholarship is provided to support Home students with their maintenance costs during their studies. The selection is made based on financial need and personal statement.

Amount: £2,500

Eligibility Criteria of The University of Westminster Scholarships:

  1. Applicant must be an international student
  2. Must have an English Proficiency Certificate
