Eligibility Criteria for USTC International Scholarships
Applicants must fulfill the eligibility criteria for the University of Science and Technology of China Scholarships 2024 for International Students, given below;
- Applicants must be non-Chinese nationals and currently should not be studying in China.
- Required Qualification
- Applicants must have a high school diploma (which is equivalent to a Chinese high school diploma), and an HSK5 certificate, to apply for the bachelor’s degree scholarship.
- Applicants must have an Undergraduate degree, to apply for the Master’s degree scholarship.
- Applicants should have a Master’s degree, to be eligible to apply for the Ph.D. degree scholarship.
- Age Limit:
- To be eligible for the undergraduate degree program, you must be under the age of 30 by September 1st, 2024.
- To be eligible for the Master’s degree program, you must be under the age of 35 by September 1st, 2024.
- To be eligible for the Doctoral degree program, you must be under the age of 40 by September 1st, 2024.
- Applicants must be in good health condition.
- The graduates must submit a Pre-graduation Certificate to guarantee that they will finish their studies and receive their degrees by July 2024 for them to receive their degrees in 2024.

- Monthly Stipend:
- For Bachelor’s Degree: CNY2,500 / Month
- For Master’s Degree: CNY 3,000 / Month

- Recent photograph
- Photocopy of Passport
- A study or research proposal (no less than 800 words).
- Updated CV or resume
- Two letters of Recommendation
- Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form
- Degree certificates
- Academic Transcript for both Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree (if have).
- Proof of Language Proficiency
