Entrance Scholarship Values
We automatically assess you for an entrance scholarship when you apply to Laurier. Scholarships are based on your final grades and no application is required. The President’s Gold entrance scholarship, granted upon admission, is worth $4,000 CAD per year and is renewable for subsequent years, provided that renewal requirements are met annually.

PRESIDENT’S GOLD SCHOLARSHIP
If your average is 95% or higher, we will award you with the President’s Gold Scholarship, which is worth $4,000, for your first year at Laurier. If you maintain the eligibility requirements, you will receive another $4,000 per year for four years (or up to five for some programs).
This scholarship is automatically renewable if you achieve an annual GPA of 10.5 or higher based on the completion of a minimum of 5.0 full credits during the past academic year.
LAURIER SCHOLARS AWARDS
The prestigious Laurier Scholars Award is an annual entrance scholarship that was established in 2021 to offer high-achieving students the opportunity to participate in a dynamic learning environment that will foster innovative thinking and ethical, visionary leadership. This award is worth up to a maximum of $40,000 over four years.
IN-COURSE SCHOLARSHIPS
At the end of your first year at Laurier, you will be automatically considered for in-course scholarships based on your Laurier GPA (grade point average). In-course scholarships are valued between $500 and $1,500 annually. In-course scholarships begin at a GPA of 10.0 and above (or approximately 80% and above).
