  • One who is facing or has recently fled from an immediate, severe, or any targeted threat either to their careers or lives in their residential countries or their hometowns;
  • One demonstrating a superior academic accomplishment and promise;
  • One will be benefited from host academic communities or homes.

How to Apply for IIE-SRF Fellowship 2024?

The steps mentioned should be followed to avail of the IIE-SRF Fellowship:

(1). The potential Applicants can either apply directly or can have a third party submit application materials on their behalf. The materials required for the application are:

  • Application cover sheet
  • Academic statement. Please provide the institute with a piece of conscientious information regarding your educational background and professional experience, along with a scrupulous description of your interests in academic research. Please make sure that you include details of the activities undertaken during research, publishing, teaching, etc., as well as in your academic position in the fellowship program. The academic statement that you have to provide should minimally be one page.
  • Provide your current/ up-to-date resume or CV.
  • Personal statement. Please ensure you provide a piece of thorough information explaining why you are applying for the IIE-SRF support program. It should include a wise, transparent, and detailed account of the threats/ risks faced along with the reason why you are incapable of continuing your work in your hometown at this very time. The statement should minimally be on a single page.
  • Two (2) academic/professional letters of reference via educational and professional colleagues
  • Two personal letters of reference from colleagues or persons, well aware of the problems you face along with the professional background. It would help if you directed your referees to compose the letters mentioned above on the official letterhead and directly send them to IIE-SRF at srf@iie.org.
  • A Ph.D. copy or higher degree
  • Samples of your recent writing.
  • A letter from an accredited institution of learning enables you to host your fellowship. It’s not a requirement.
